About me, the writer



I am Pong Leang Horng, I was born in 1994 in a big family since there are nine members in my family. includes my parents. And I seem so lucky that I'm the sixth child due to all my elder brothers and sisters didn't have a chance to pursue their education in university as my youngest brother and me. Although, pursuing life at the college isn't really easy since I have to work at the same time as well.


Recently, I'm a senior student at BELTEI International University (BIU). I have worked as a teacher of English for roughly 10 years. Since then, I've found my interest- I do love sharing new things to students and enjoy being with them, especially I would like to contribute my knowledge to others as much as I can. 

Additionally, I aim to challenge myself and learn new experiences from different working environments. In my leisure time, I enjoy doing the household chores and doing things which contribute to my knowledge and help self-growth. 

All in all, be positive and optimistic person is one of the greatest aspects in my life and I do love surrounding with those types of people. Thanks to those who always make my life be brighter and I've learned a lot. And I hope to have a better career and successful life!

Cambodia Water Festival

 The Cambodia Water Festival, known as "Bon Om Touk," is a traditional Cambodian celebration that usually takes place in November. It marks the reversal of the flow of the Tonle Sap River and is a major event featuring boat races, concerts, and vibrant festivities, especially in Phnom Penh. It's a time for locals to honor the country's maritime history and is one of Cambodia's most significant cultural events.
